• Baseline studies: from a full range of site surveys to desktop studies, we are highly experienced in specialist studies following recognised procedures and, where appropriate, are fully licensed. We understand that statutory guidance is not prescriptive, and design our studies to be appropriate to the project.
  
• Consultation; we are experienced in negotiating with statutory consultees and nature conservation organisations.
  
• Assessment criteria; our projects typically follow the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM) evaluation criteria, but can be tailored to the client’s preferences.
• Mitigation; we offer effective and appropriate mitigation design from full habitat management plans to site enhancement and applications and implementation of protected species licenses.
  
• Public Enquiry; we can provide proofs of evidence and expert witness services for any project.
  

Final outputs can be tailored to your requirements, from the provision of a completed ecology chapter for inclusion in an Environmental Statement tailored to the developer’s format, through to supplementary reports to accompany planning submissions for smaller projects.
