Nicole is an experienced professional ecologist whose key skills lie in ornithology and is technically competent in a broad range of other ecology disciplines. Nicole has overseen and contributed to numerous environmental statements and provided information to inform habitat regulations assessments for a broad range of projects often impinging on European designated sites and including both small and large-scale wind turbine developments, solar farms, grid connections, land reclamation, port re-developments, vehicular ferries, natural gas storage, compressed air energy storage, waste treatment facilities and waste water treatment works throughout the UK and Ireland. Nicole has acted as an expert witness and an ecological clerk of works. She has held NIEA protected species licences.
